Last Thursday when we went sight seeing, we walked into a building, and what do you think we saw? Right in the middle of a display of world flags was the Texas flag. Imagine that! We decided that they couldn't put the U.S. flag because it was too detailed, so they put the Texas flag instead. Haha... Actually there was a flag that we think was supposed to represent the U.S. flag, but it only had one star and eleven stripes. Those crazy Chilenos!

hey! i came across your blog recently... the flag you describe is that of Liberia. Historical ties to the US and are reflected in their national flag.
